Call Of Duty World At War **NEW INFO**

Check this thread out. It is information collated from an open day with Treyarch where they got to test/play the new Call Of Duty world At War game. As Errol mentioned before I think they are really going to surprise people with this one. Apparentley this has had a proper 2 year development cycle where as COD3 only had 8 months! As I'm sure you are all aware by now COD 4 is my favourite game of all time, so I can not wait for this to be released now. They are keeping a lot of the things which made COD 4 outstanding. Perks are staying which is a major plus. Also with the 4 player online co op XP points you usually only get from multiplayer will also be given for playing the single player, and the AI will adapt to how well you play for each individual person. That sounds Awesome!!
I am now awaiting to see if they can even come close to bettering COD 4. It is gonna take some beating.
Oh and COD 4 got the best game of all time from votes on the GAME website.

just goes to show the way this generation of kids think about games these days....3 of the games in the top ten have come out in the past year.....two in the last month

no way in hell is cod 4 better than final fantasy 7.....or halo...any of the halo's....wait a sec...how they be putting mario kart on the wii in 13th and putting the original in 40th.....could go on and on...but its the usual debate i guess..but they need to chuck them 100,000 voters onto the bonfire.

LOL.. "voters onto the bonfire" thats a classic. I hear what you saying bro and I do agree with you that some of the placings are a little dodgy. You get that in any poll reg games as everyones opinions different and yes kids of today will vote for current games as they didn't play the old games and a lot of kids who did have now grown up and don't play games anymore, who therefore wont vote. I will however state right now that for me COD4 is my favourite game of all timer. My justification for this is quite simple. I have 2 other outstanding games I should be playing right now which are MGS4 & GRID and ive hardly touched them as im STILL going back to play COD4 multiplayer. It is just the best thing ever!! This is why games like HAZE look mediocre in comparison and why that got sold in 24 hours (for a profit) as it comes nowhere near the level of COD as the bar has been risen so high!
I have also noticed on my friends list people that were playing GTA IV, Frontlines etc have all now returned to playing COD. Basically they play something else then realise that the quality just isn't there like it is with COD.
I think any conversation about favourite games is gonna cause carnage as I for one have no love for final fantasy nor HALO like yourself but I do appreciate that these are great games and have huge followings. In terms of old games its probably not fair to compare those to now as its just a different world completely. I can however compare addictiveness and I ain't been addicted to anything like COD since Megaman on the NES hence my avatar.
Anyway ive gone off topic again, but I cant wait for this new COD to come out. I have very high hopes for this now where as before I wasn't really looking forward to it cause of the WWII stuff. The fact that its an improved COD4 engine, online co op, perks staying, ahhh...the list goes on. This will be MEGA.

SO THIS NEW COD GAME...WE ARE TALKING COD5 RIGHT....CAUSE IT WAS MENTIONED THEY WOULD BE USING THE SAME ENGINE AS COD4...BUT I'M SURE YOU'VE GOT ALL THE DETAILS BEING THE COD LOVER...LOL
BUT KEEP US UPDATED ON THIS WITH ANY SCREENSHOTS YOU GET....I HAVE TO SAY...COD4 IS A SUPREME GAME...I WAS NEVER A FAN OF THE COD OR ANY WAR TYPE GENRE GAME BEFORE...ALTHOUGH I DID FEEL IT HAD POTENTIAL AND I WOULD CHECK IT OUT IF I FELT THINGS HAVE IMPROVED....THERE WERE A FEW ADVANCEMENTS IN THE PAST FEW YEARS LIKE FULL SPECTRUM WARRIOR AND GRAW2....BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU GET COD4 AND ITS LIKE...YES THIS IS WHERE IT BEGINS.
