Super Streetfighter II HD Xbox Live Arcade Beta IS LIVE!!!!!!!!!!

And its fucking amazing!!! I will write a full review shortly as I have a meeting.

OK I'm a street fighter fan anyway, but seriously I think I just came in my pants. And only ryu and ken too to choose from. I only had time to play a few games but the graphics are SSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK!!! On my 52 inch TV it just looks stunning. To go from dodgy arcade monitors in the chip shop from years ago to 1080P redrawn graphics is just UNREAL! Anyway enough orgasms let me move on to what you get.

You can play a normal player match and send invites to your mates.

There is ranked games which don't really count as its only a beta so there are no stats recorded from what i saw.

There is also a tournament mode which for me was the best thing. Basically a knockout mode where 8 people start and then you have to win to continue. What I liked was that if you finish your game earlier and go back to the lobby you can see the energy bars of people playing so you know how the fight is going... would be good if u could see the actual game but it is a beta so maybe for the full game.

The main thing though was the controls. I have to see I was actually quite happy with how it felt pulling off fireballs and dragons. I had no problems pulling them off which leads me to believe that even though I would still prefer a decent fighting pad this game has been coded to take better effect from the xbox dpad and it works brilliantly. I was comboing with ease and mashed up a good few people. There was one classic moment when It was close to the end of the fight and the guy i was playing did a fake fireball, trying to put me off and i did a super fireball which obliterated him and finished the game in all that flashing heavenly glory. LOL Ahhh that felt good. Anyway if any of you think you are good enough I welcome a challenge.
