E3 Xbox 360 News !!WOW!!

Well its been pretty quiet on these here forums for a while but WOW what an E3 explosion from Microsoft!
There was a ton of announcements but ill go through my favourites.

1. Netflix announcement. This has been a long time coming and I hope we get the same deal here in Europe. free films is where it should be at.

2. Game Installs. WOW, never saw this coming. I cant wait to install COD 4 on my HDD and not have to here hoover like sounds when I am playing at night. Quality!

3. New dashboard. OK its a rip off of Mii's and HOME but fuck me it looks good and they have done it well. Im liking up to 8 people chat, sharing photos/videos and being able to watch films together. Launching as a group to a game is awesome too. Very HOMEesque like I said but this will be their version of it and where the fuck is HOME!.

4. Geometry Wars 2. Im a massive Geometry Wars fan and the sequel looks stunning. The one free with PGR 4 was bollocks and the Wii one aint much better.

There was lots of other stuff like Final Fantasy coming to 360 but i'm not a RPG fan so means nothing to me. I can however appreciate RPG fans will be loving this. The forums were on fire last night when this announcement was made. A lot of ps3 fanboys are upset that it is no longer an exclusive. jokers..LOL
Basically Sony are gonna have to pull a MASSIVE rabbit from their hat to beat what Microsoft had. Personally if they don't come up with something HUGE and I mean HUGE like HOME being released very soon I do feel there has been a bit of a shift in the old console wars as for me blu ray alone will not be enough to warrant the amount of sales they need. Plus Sony do seem to take AGES to actually get stuff out. Don't get me wrong I still love my PS3 and have recently been enjoying my RAMBO blu ray boxset. However when it comes to games I still see xbox tipping it at the moment.

Whats everyones views on Too Human btw? Ill say right now I wasn't too impressed but then again im not in to RPGS too much. The actual in game engine wasnt too impressive to me but i didnt give it much play time to be honest. Let me know what everyone thinks?

the only real interesting thing was the final fantasy release..not only to come out for the xbox but on the same day as the PS3 version....lol

i'm only interested in my 360 for one thing and one thing only..playing games...netflix yeah to some people might find interesting but things like avatar's...sharing pictures/video's is gay...if i wanted to show people my pics and stuff i'd use myspace or facebook...besides i'm too good looking so ugly people might get jealous.

things like the hdd news as i mentioned in emails are droll...i have my 120gb and the sound coming off any console has never bothered me especially as the sound coming out of my games drowns out any wirring sound.

geometry wars..never played it so not interesting...but the new gears of wars 2 trailers are...mindblowing....

Yeah well i'm into the social side of things too as I regularly hook up with people online so anything that makes that easier is great for me.
In regards to the fans making noise, you obviously don't live with anyone whereby the sound is kept down to a minimum. When my mrs is sleeping trust me I can hear the fans LOUD AND CLEAR!! The other thing installs will cut down hopefully is RROD. If the fans aren't working so hard to keep the drive/motherboard cool then it should hopefully put less strain on the xbox. Im hoping it will make roughly the same sort of sound as when watching HD DVDS which is minimal as in you only hear the xbox in very quiet scenes. I love my films/games and am a bit of a perfectionist so the quieter the console the better which is where the PS3 rules at the moment.
Lets see what Sony have to offer tonight then.

jokes!! nah its seems this type of interface is becoming very popular, i have had this on my xbox 1 media center for a while but never used it, i see it everyday on things like iphones ipods etc, its thinks its nice...

i just hope it aint buggy and slow!!

some of the peeps on the emails are going to stick to it...cause they only have limited access to it from work..and they never really had a problem with sending emails regardless of how many in their inbox....so i'm afraid you've missed out on some of the discusssions...lol

so your gonna have to either stick with the forum which is cool...i like using it but will probably use less now as the majority are going to stick with emails.

thats all good, makes me thankful i did not host this forum on my own server cause then i would have been pissed!!!
